Come and see · John 1:46

You may know His name without knowing who He is.

Before you make your decision about Jesus based on what other people have done, look at Him for yourself.

Who is Jesus?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came to reveal the Father, rescue people from sin, restore our relationship with God, and show us what truth and love look like when lived. He welcomed people others rejected, confronted hypocrisy, healed the hurting, forgave sin, and called people into a different way of living.

John 1:1–5, 14 · John 14:6–9 · Colossians 1:15

Why do we need Him?

Every person has sinned. We cannot repair our separation from God through good behavior, religious activity, generosity, or comparison. We need forgiveness, but we also need a new life.

Romans 3:23 · Romans 6:23 · Ephesians 2:8–9

What did Jesus do?

Jesus lived without sin and willingly gave His life for us on the cross. He died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead. Because of Him, forgiveness is available and our past does not have to rule our future.

Romans 5:8 · 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 · 1 Peter 2:24

How do I respond?

Jesus invites you to trust Him and follow Him. Repentance means turning toward God and allowing His truth to lead you. Faith is not pretending you have no questions. You come honestly, receive grace, and allow Him to change you from the inside out.

Mark 1:15 · John 1:12 · Romans 10:9–10

A prayer to begin

Come honestly.

A prayer does not save you because you repeated the correct words. Jesus saves. Prayer is simply a way to express your faith and decision to Him.

Father, I come to You honestly. I believe Jesus is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and rose from the dead. I need Your forgiveness, and I receive the salvation I could never earn for myself. Teach me to know You, help me understand Your truth, and lead me by Your Holy Spirit. I place my life in Your hands and choose to follow Jesus. Amen.

What happens next?

A new life begins one honest step at a time.

  1. Read the Gospel of John. Notice what Jesus reveals about the Father.
  2. Talk to God honestly. Prayer does not require special vocabulary.
  3. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you.
  4. Connect with trustworthy believers. Look for character and teaching that agree with Jesus.
  5. Test what you are taught. A title or platform does not make someone correct.
  6. Apply what you learn. Following Jesus reaches choices, boundaries, relationships, and responsibility.

If you have been hurt by a church

What happened matters.

You do not have to call harmful behavior acceptable in order to follow Jesus. Abuse, manipulation, control, dishonesty, and spiritual pressure do not become holy because they happened inside a church building or were carried out by someone with a ministry title. Jesus is inviting you to know Him beyond what other people misrepresented.

Know. Heal. Live Free. Become.

Take the next honest step.

If you decided to follow Jesus, are returning to Him, or still have questions, you are welcome to reach out. We will not pressure you or add you to a list without permission.
